Beautiful, newly built stone farmhouse with stunning views in the rolling hills of southern Tuscany in the Maremma.

This charming property has old Tuscan features such as stone walls, travertine arches (the local marble from Saturnia) and ceilings with wooden beams. The house features parquet floors and a large fireplace.

From here you have a magnificent view of the surrounding countryside and further towards Monte Argentario and the island of Giglio.

Facilities

The property features several open plan living areas on the ground floor, a marvellous professional kitchen with an angled fireplace and top of the range appliances from Wolf, Miele as well as a sub-zero fridge-freezer and a wine fridge and dining area. The furniture is by Bulthaup.

A staircase leads to the first floor consisting of 4 bedrooms with en suite bathrooms, one of which is a single bedroom and two bedrooms have a fireplace.

In the basement you will find a large vaulted taverna with kitchen area and fireplace, storage room and a bathroom.

The 2-hectare plot includes an orchard, olive grove and private woodland, as well as the swimming pool (14 x 7 metres).

The villa has two outdoor seating and dining terraces, as well as a pizza oven and barbecue.

An unpaved road of about 580 metres leads to the property.

Location

There are numerous forts and ancient towers in the surrounding area and three historic fishing villages: Porto Ercole, Porto Santo Stefano and Orbetello. The nearby Maremma area offers excellent food and wine and Etruscan sites.

Olive groves, vineyards and cypress trees adorn the soft hills of the surrounding area, inviting you to take a relaxing tour by bike or go hiking.

Rome Fiumicino International Airport is about 138 km away. There is also a train station in Orbetello with good connections. Grosseto airport has space for private planes and is only 45 km away by car.
